PensionCalc is the site name behind this free UK State Pension calculator. We turn complicated State Pension rules into practical, clearly labelled planning estimates.

What PensionCalc does

PensionCalc is an independent information website. Our calculator helps you understand two questions: when you may reach State Pension age and what your payment might look like at the current full new State Pension rate.

We build our explanations from primary government guidance, including GOV.UK State Pension publications and the legislated State Pension age timetable. Every estimate explains its limits and points you to the official DWP forecast for a personal figure.

Our editorial approach

PensionCalc prefers plain English, visible calculations and direct links to official sources. We do not ask for a National Insurance number, create user accounts or store dates entered into the calculator.

Rates and rules can change. We review the main calculator when a new tax-year rate is confirmed and when legislation changes the State Pension age timetable.
